Overall Satisfaction with SysCloud Cloud Backup for G Suite and Office 365
SysCloud is being used to backup our entire Google Workspace (GSuite) domain. This allows the district to store end user data (email, documents, etc.) and restore it if/when necessary.
Pros
- Quickly performs backups in the cloud.
- Quickly restores data.
- Has the ability to employ rules and send alerts (i.e. if someone sends PII via email)
Cons
- Pricing for school districts.
- A la carte licensing/pricing.
- More user friendly interface.

- SysCloud was costly and we were unable to continue the service.
- SysCloud performed well and met the needs of the district.
The district will be transitioning to Datto Backupify. Datto Backupify is more financially suitable to the needs of the district. Additionally, some of the features in SysCloud are available within the Google Workspace Admin Console.
