PHPRunner vs. Porkbun

Initial impression is a 10. I was able to create a function skeleton of my app project within a few hours and virtually no trainig/study. I'll update this review as I learn and develop.

Anyone who generally needs to register domains or who would like to have free email forwarding for their domains, especially thoughts working on a budget considering how inexpensive Porkbun is compared to other registars.

• Integrated SMS functions
• Visual app building for us non-programmers
• Fast creation of a web interface for database data

• Extremely competitive domain pricing and discounts
• Reminders to renew domains far in advance with generous grace periods
• Easy email forwarding

Reviewed and tried; PHPRunner, PHPMaker, PHP Generator for MySQL, scriptcase, and AppGini. My selection of PHPRunner does not imply anything negative about the listed programs. I was able to create a functioning skeleton app with PHPRunner that I was not able to create with any of the others. I did not want an online subscription-based product.

Simply put, Porkbun doesn't try to overcharge you. You are paying a near-bare minimum cost for each domain while still getting great support, and unlike a lot of other registrars, you aren't being upsold something due to the lower costs. You just receive a good service.

• EXPECTATION - I will have an app that is mine to license as I please, not a subscription cost

• Lowered our yearly costs for domains
• Avoided dealing with costly domain name sharks
• Avoided extra email hosting costs for simple tasks like email forwarding
