Questrade vs. YCharts

It helps me in managing my Canadian portfolio which includes stock-specific investments and ETFs as well. They charge no commission or very little commission on some specific trade.

I use YCharts to perform my client reviews. It helps me demonstrate the performance and decision making process. It helps me show the deep dive of investment selection, and clients can see the thought process that goes into investment decision making.

• Easy to follow user interface.
• Monthly reports are very detailed and contain visuals to aid in the understanding of performance.
• Questrade has a very responsive customer support team.
• Questrade has low fees.

I have used WealthSimple before, and I can say that Questrade is just a bit more intuitive for me. It's catered for beginners, but also has additional features for those who are a bit more advanced. Questrade is a flexible platform that allows you to create and track various types of portfolios, create and track various types of strategies, etc. By far the superior choice in my opinion.

• In my experience, Questrade has delayed me for months! I feel it's a waste of time
• I don't know how they deserve such high ratings, maybe they buy marketing and reviewers. In my opinion, don't buy into their sales pitch!!!
