Lovable was leaps and bounds easier to use and much more competent. I was suppised after using Replit, possibly that experience blinded me, but I am still using Lovable and haven't thought about Replit again since.
Replit is best suited to rapid prototyping, building proofs-of-concept, experimenting with new ideas, and developing small- to medium-sized applications quickly. I find it valuable for AI assisted coding, testing features, learning new frameworks and iterating without spending significant time on local env setup. It is great to validate my idea before investing in a moral formal development process. It will be less appropriate for strict security and compliance requirements.
