Replit isnt ready for Production but great Marketing

We did some trials, I tried it for starting a web app.
To say it went bad would be a compliment. Almost straight away there were problems, so the AI kept insisting that it was an account restriction, so I finally upgraded. Then it took me around the world, back to square one and the webapp was not better off. I got very frustrated and reached out to support and they gaslit me. It ws so unprofessional I lost the plot, so not a good look for me either. Replit will always be a grubby, one time credit card grab. If you want support, better buy yourself a bra. Replit is not delivering a usable product. This was my experince in Aug 2025. I would never use the platform again, plenty of alternatives that actually apprecaite the customer experience and advocate, instead of gaslighting and defensive commentary.

- Pushes you upgrade beacuse of the limitations (completely untrue)
- Gaslights customers that reach out to support.
Cons
- Customer Service Advocation for Customer Experience
- Some truth in the marketing, some of the claims were laughable at best
- The AI Bot like hallucination and is not at all self-aware of the things it says
