RightCapital vs. WealthBlock

I think it is well suited for planners that are just starting out and have an appreciation for cash flow analysis for their clients. I think it is more bang for your buck in that regard. The cash flow analysis can be a helpful addition when discussing client finances because it's easy to say that goals will be reached, but it's better to describe, year by year, how a client's cash flow will look.

Great for VC, PE, and RE firms. I-banks and brokers should use it, as well, to scale. Cost might be too high for startups or sporadic fundraisers who don't need an ongoing tool.

• Superior UI/UX. Our LPs and staff love it. Very intuitive.
• Well thought out and integrated features and designs. Truly a one-stop solution.

• Compared to other LP portals, it is not cheap.
• As it's a new firm, time is needed to prove its performance consistency.
• Rapid release of new features and enhancement requires more training.

Again, as I mentioned before, RightCapital seems to be much more user-friendly for people starting out because of how intuitive the platform is. In addition, it beats on cost and flexibility, in my opinion. I think the cost per advisor with eMoney can be around $3600, and RightCapital is half that. Now there may be services that I will need as I grow that will compel me to switch, but I am not there yet and am unwilling to lose the features that RightCapital provides.

WealthBlock comes with its native CRM, dataroom, investor onboarding, etc. Compared to other individual tools, WealthBlock provides a seamless one-stop solution for all parties involved in the process.

• It has been a huge closing tool for new clients when we can present current and proposed strategies. The illustration is compelling.
• We use the reports feature to help compose financial plans which is a service offering
• The Vault is used as a risk management control for legal and regulatory purposes.
