Virtru in Washington DC offers email encryption software and persistent data security, privacy and loss prevention.
I would recommend this program ideally more for larger organizations, but that is not to say you couldn't use it for personal use. I think it's ideal for an organization because of all the features it has in one program. It provides all the protection you'd need in a corporation, especially for ones dealing with sensitive company/personal/financial information. Administrators are also able to set specific settings for users so the company can tailor security restrictions as needed

Of all the products out there that integrate with Google, we found Virtru to be the most user-friendly for both our users and the recipients. At the same time, its logging capabilities provide the trail we need for sensitive information. This is one tool for us that has generally been "setup and forget" which helps with the I.T. Dept workload.

I wish it would give better reasoning why some sites or downloads are blocked, this can be frustrating to have happen if what you are trying to download is from someone/thing you know is a trusted source
Sometimes the program messes up the formatting of some webpages I'm trying to visit

Full Gmail integration was not a negotiable item for us in our evaluation. Other products provided our needed functionality, but they were outside the standard Gmail interface. That made them more difficult to use, and also less likely to be used. Virtru was the only one we evaluated that actually resided within the Gmail interface, making it very easy to use.
