Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use 1010data to quickly analyze massive sets of data. The program is great for quick tabulations and visualizations. The platform has numerous native data tables. All analysts are familiar with the software and use it frequently to analyze huge datasets in a time efficient manner.

Crunches huge datasets
Has versatility in functionality and grouping capabilities
Native XML macro language is easy to master
The platform has great visualization tools

Cons

The ten.do interface could use more detailed documentation

Likelihood to Recommend

The software is excellent for any application which is too large for Excel. The visual interface surpasses that of most SQL platforms. It is quite useful for data mining in an exploratory way but less useful in statistical and regression analysis.

[We] ran a PoC on the big data discovery for a healthcare intelligent project to understand our patient’s experience across multiple health systems and to help promote the most effective, efficient, and preventative care.
