Ultra Machining Company (UMC) manufactures complex medical device, aerospace, and defense components. 

The Problem: UMC had five separate quality control software solutions to perform all the tasks from drawing ballooning to plan creation, first articles, inspection data collection, PPAP creation etc. The old systems were very slow (it was often faster to do work manually than use the system), could not handle the large number of parameters (100 to 800 parameters per part), and could not handle the volume of data being generated (1 million data points per month).
