AppDirect

AppDirect Platform is a modular B2B commerce and technology-management platform. It supports two principal operating models: organizations can build marketplaces that sell and manage recurring products through direct and partner channels, or use AppDirect to procure and administer technology for their own workforce. Capabilities are selected by use case and are not necessarily included in every AppDirect deployment.

For digital monetization, AppDirect provides a white-label eCommerce environment with configurable storefronts, product catalogs, editions, pricebooks, bundles, discounts, contracts, checkout, payments, and order processing. Storefront managers can customize product pages, navigation, branding, translations, and other components through visual editing tools or a developer toolkit. REST and GraphQL APIs use OAuth authentication, while webhooks and integration tools connect marketplace events with external CRM, ERP, accounting, fulfillment, and reporting systems.

AppBilling adds subscription management for one-time, recurring, tiered, and usage-based pricing. It supports trials, multiple currencies, subscription upgrades and downgrades, renewals, cancellations, metered usage, proration, credits, invoices, payment collection, tax-engine connections, and revenue-share reconciliation. Products can be provisioned automatically through integrations or routed through a manual fulfillment workflow.

AppReseller supplies partner relationship management and channel management capabilities. Organizations can register and onboard resellers, maintain partner profiles and tiers, distribute leads, manage opportunities and quotes, apply partner-specific products and pricing, and administer orders on partners’ behalf. Additional functions include commissions, incentives, revenue sharing, payout reconciliation, partner dashboards, content distribution, and reseller access to customer subscriptions.

On the procurement side, AppDirect provides internal and external catalogs for discovering, requesting, purchasing, and administering technology services. Its SaaS management tools consolidate applications and subscriptions, including products purchased outside the AppDirect marketplace. Administrators can monitor invoices, renewals, application usage, and subscription costs. Workforce identity management capabilities include application assignment, automated provisioning and deprovisioning, single sign-on, multifactor authentication, and directory integration.
