[Apple] iWork is being used by some Mac users within the organization. It is more a personal choice as some people prefer [Apple] iWork, while others prefer Microsoft Office.

[Apple] iWork is being used to write documents/letters, produce spreadsheets and design presentations. It is mainly used to produce internal documents that are shared between employees.
  • Well integrated within Apple ecosystem
  • Easy to learn and use
  • Compatible with Microsoft Office
  • Available for free
  • Available on iOS and MacOS
  • Sometimes limited in terms of features compared to Microsoft Office
  • Different interface than Microsoft Office so some users might have to adapt
  • Importing Microsoft Office documents doesn't always work as expected
Apple iWork is well suited to produce letters/documents, spreadsheets and presentations within the Apple ecosystem. It also help people who have no knowledge in graphic design to create documents and presentations that look nice and feel professional enough.

However it is not appropriate for a company where all computers run on Windows as the only option would be to use iWork in a Web browser. Also for people who rely a lot on Microsoft Excel power features, Numbers might not be well suited as it lacks some features.
