I help customers use Apptio Cloudability, I do not personally use it to solve issues that I personally have. The things we do are help customers with organizing their cloud costs so that they can do a showback or chargeback model. Other use cases are to clean up errors in the Cloud billing too, and find opportunities to save money using the cloud through optimization.

We use it to manage all of our savings plans and RIs. We also use it for right-sizing opportunities and we use it to graph those optimization efforts to show the cost going down as optimization changes are happening.

We are a large enterprise with a significant cloud presence, and Cloudability helps us to gain visibility into our cloud spend. Cloudability provides us with a comprehensive view of our cloud costs, including costs from multiple cloud providers, accounts, and projects. This visibility helps us to identify areas where we can reduce our spending and Allocate costs to business units. The scope of our use case for Cloudability is broad. Cloudability also supports our FinOps practice, which is responsible for optimizing our cloud costs and investments.

Apptio Cloudability Review
Apptio Cloudability provides us insights into our cloud spend that we cannot get anywhere else. We don't get the granularity and assurance around our actual spend numbers from our cloud provider, unlike with Apptio Cloudability. After attending TBMC23, I'm extremely excited about new product offerings and the expansion of the platform. It's been very refreshing to know that we're taking the right steps in our TBM journey.
