Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use Argus for helping to manage our real estate investment portfolio. The audit reports are extremely valuable, especially the lease audit section. It breaks down all our leases so we can better understand the value of the leases. It allow us to run variable property scenarios with different capitalization rates to see which is optimal for us.
Pros
- Valuation tools are advanced and complete
- we can share among multiple employees
- it has many options to model out our leases correctly
Cons
- It does have a fairly steep learning curve in order to use to its best capabilities
- It is a bit costly per member
- Building a project takes time
Return on Investment
- Our investments are better managed and maximizes our return on investment
- Our analysts can discuss as a group in one location
- initial investment in Argus takes time to recoup.
