What is asterio?

Asterio is a point of sale system for hotel restaurants, a web-based software designed with and for hoteliers. Asterio was designed for hoteliers seeking a single solution for marketing and managing their hotel and restaurant operations.

Touchscreen and mobile, Asterio helps with its ergonomic features: a tablet-based system that streamlines restaurant activity from menu management to taking orders and receiving payment.

Some features include:

Works with à la carte products (processed or unprocessed), set menus and deals including supplements and itemised VAT.
Management of a sales catalogue till by till.
Till management: opening/closing, cash float entry, till control, multi-till management (restaurant-bar-softs).
Rates set by property, by till and by customer, with configuration of happy hours or other variations.
Customer view to link an order to a customer, consult their customer history, manage outstanding payments and reminders.
Device management (ticket printer, cash drawer, Dallas key reader).
Interactive room plan with option to manage different sales outlets, position tables on a room plan, track the progress of each table, perform actions (print, close table, etc.) directly from the room plan.
Kitchen production: print items on all production points concerned by the order, manage courses, reminders and cancellations.
