Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Authoritias is used for SEO research and competitor analysis. Has a good amount of features such as rank tracking, keyword analysis, market/technical analysis, content, link data, author discovery, and tasks. Ok UI/UX. I think it could be better. The accuracy and speed of the tool might not be as good as those of the competitors.

I think there are a lot of better tools out there, functionality and design-wise, as well as pricing. Authoritas is a simple tool and is suitable for small businesses. If you're a more prominent company, using more enterprise tools is best. This suffices if you're looking for a tool that gives you basic data on your site.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it for tracking our clients' rankings and for determining the intent of keyword search terms plus looking the SERP displays to determine if the organic ranking is justified or should the client start targeting video, images, snippets, people also ask, maps and so on. This part of the tool is very useful.

Pros

  • SERP
  • Keyword search intent (Is it a buying keyword research etc.)
  • Visibility i.e. how may clicks can they expect from the ranking positions.
  • Competition analysis unlimited!

Cons

  • UX is quite challenging
  • Needs to be responsive so it fits all screens
  • Quick analysis of competition would be good

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

This tool is used by the marketing department in our organization, only amongst our SEO team of three people. Although this tool might not be one of the big names like SEMRush, Majestic, or Moz, it is an impressive tool for an impressive price. I'm particularly impressed with the number of capabilities that the product offers for such a great price.

Likelihood to Recommend

This tool is particularly well suited to SEO teams that don't require a great deal of precision or specialization. For example, this tool provides a very user-friendly way to do keyword research, but might not be well suited to someone that needs exact search volumes or keyword difficulties. The tool offers a great bang for your buck, but isn't the most capable tool out there. Still great!
