Forma - Good for Cloud Models not for Documents.
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We are forced to use Forma to link Revit cloud models; that is our primary use. It also has document capabilities, but honestly, it's always been very cumbersome for us.
Pros
- Cloud model access.
- Easy collaboration between users in different locations.
Cons
- Submittals are very confusing as to what's the latest version.
- Drawings are very slow to load.
Return on Investment
- We are able to get multiple users from different locations into a single model efficiently.
- Navigating documents on Forma takes a lot longer than other alternatives.
