Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My company uses AWS Amplify to develop and deploy our complete SaaS product. When we started our product we had two major requirements and AWS Amplify helped solve both of them. Infrastructure as code and fully managed/serverless services. We are now able to deploy our solution to new regions in a matter of hours and have the flexibility to add custom services as we grow the product.

Pros

  • Cloudformation Template Generation
  • Environment configuration (Dev, Testing, Prod)
  • Cognito Integration

Cons

  • Services Migrations
  • Using Custom Services

Return on Investment

  • Minimal IT Staff because of fully managed solutions
  • Onboarding new hires 50% faster because the framework is familiar.
