Axis Suite is managed by my department (public affairs) to manage content. Our information systems department manages technical issues. The content is viewed by everyone in my organization via digital screens that are located in all of our offices across the state. Axis Suite plays a critical role when it comes to internal communications. The digital screens display important employee information. Our bigger screens display public information that is relevant to visitors from outside the organization.
  • Easy to schedule large amounts of content and push it out to all of the digital screens in offices across the state
  • Although I didn't handle implementation, I've heard from our technical team that install was a relatively easy process
  • Customer support is stellar; I've always been provided a resolution to my issue when contacting Axis Suite customer support
  • One slight issue is the complexity of Axis Suite design. It can be extremely complex to design custom content. My organization had to purchase "advanced configuration hours" to create a message that displayed weather information in all of our offices.
Axis Suite is extremely valuable as a digital signage tool for organizational communications. If you have the need to get custom information/content out to employees in your organization, I highly recommend Axis Suite. Once it's up and running, the content management system is extremely easy to use--even for those who aren't good with technology. It might be less appropriate if you are a super small organization because of the price tag.
  • Displays custom digital content for my organization
  • Content management system is easy to use
  • Easy to implement
  • Great customer support
  • Increased efficient flow of information to internal audiences
In full transparency, I did not select Axis Suite. The service was selected by my boss. I inherited content management after she left and I moved into her role. Recently, I successfully pushed for a major software upgrade on the platform. I did this because I was pleased with Axis Suite and I felt like upgrading the content management system and look and feel of the digital signage was in my organization's best interest.
