BackgroundPro is a Background Check platform and screening service for employers, staffing firms, franchises, and multi-location organizations. It combines automated screening workflows with human review, allowing hiring teams to invite candidates, order checks, monitor progress, review results, and manage screening programs from a central dashboard.

Employers can configure screening packages by role, location, account, or hiring requirement. Orders can begin through guided candidate invitations, manual entry, bulk upload, an applicant tracking system (ATS) integration, or an enterprise API. The mobile-friendly candidate workflow handles intake and authorization, while status views, attention queues, reporting, and role-based permissions help internal teams manage outstanding work and control access to results.

Available services include county, state, federal, and international criminal searches; civil court records; employment, education, professional license, and reference verifications; identity and address checks; motor vehicle records; drug and occupational health testing; and sanctions and watchlist searches. BackgroundPro also supports continuous post-hire monitoring programs.

Supported ATS integrations include HiringThing, SAP SuccessFactors, Bullhorn, and iCIMS. Depending on the integration, employers can select packages, initiate screening, follow candidate progress, and access completed results from their recruiting workflow. BackgroundPro also provides implementation assistance, compliance-oriented workflows, candidate support, and U.S.-based customer service.
