We use Barracuda Managed XDR to handle the 24X7 monitoring for us especially on the overnight hours when most of the malicious behavior is likely to occur. We have found that working with their network operations center on when they should take charge of isolating logins or equipment has been very easy to coordinate. Barracuda's Managed XDR product has been our go to application for a couple of years now and will continue to be going forward.
Pros
- Centralized Management for all endpoints
- 24X7 coverage at all times
- Ability to monitor not only endpoints but network traffic as well
Cons
- Identifying impossible travel and distances is one item for improvement
- in regards to the above, open up a ticket and ask
Likelihood to Recommend
All machines now a days need to have XDR (Extended Detection and Response) as part of their security stack. XDR integrates with other security tools and ticketing systems easily.
