broadpeak.io is a video API platform enabling personalization and monetization at scale for OTT Streaming Service Providers. For end users, broadpeak.io aims to support a more personalized user experience with contextualized content rather than default bulk content streaming.

The platform provides an overlay manifest manipulation service. As a manifest proxy, it interfaces with existing platforms regardless of the existing ecosystem in place (content preparation, origin, CDN delivery, backend, client application, …).

Besides a few exceptions, the content media delivery workflow remains unchanged. HLS and DASH chunks still stream from the existing origin, through the CDN, to the end user clients.

The functional core is built upon a content replacement engine which enables contextualization based upon audience-based rules (policies), workflow type and end user client requests identification.
