In the age of virtual events, where companies have had to pivot to a new way of holding meetings and conferences, the BuzzCast platform has allowed us to continue to provide event production services for our clients. We use it as the agency/production company whereas our clients are typically the hosts of the virtual events.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The whole org uses it, for software symposiums, global meetups and training sessions. We have worldwide conferences and BuzzCast is our virtual events platform. It makes it easy for us to manage the event for all of our attendees without any of the usual frustration, limitation, and instability of previous solutions.

Pros

Security without a lot of complexity.
Scalability is never a hiccup, even as our events grew.
User friendliness!

Cons

I honestly can't think of one.

BuzzCast is a great way to drive marketing and customer excitement and awareness. Events deliver deeper customer and partner connections and result directly in conversations leading to sales growth.

Pros

The BuzzCast platform is super polished, events look amazing - customized branding and look & feel
Highest quality video and streaming & event support - NO DROPPED VIDEO
Many ways for attendees and sponsors to connect - much more than just a spiffed-up webinar or Zoom room
Very responsive production and support teams

I'm not sure there's much I dislike about BuzzCast

Likelihood to Recommend

BuzzCast is great for large, complex online events - especially during the pandemic when it's been hard or impossible to gather folks in person.

If you only need a smaller group of 5 or 10 people, BuzzCast is probably overkill. Once you have lots of people / multiple sessions, or want to capture and save presentations for later, you'll want to start looking at BuzzCast.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We're a production company that uses BuzzCast as the platform of choice for our clients' virtual and hybrid events. Our primary users are our producers, but the whole production team makes use of BuzzCast in one way or another. For us, it offers a reliable high-end venue for client events that need to look and feel like our clients, not us, and not the platform. Besides stability and flexibility, it's very scalable, which lets us do bigger events and shows without worry about anything not working.

Pros

Packed with features for enterprise-scale conferences and events.
Great offering of sponsor experiences.
Detailed analytics capabilities.
Very attentive support team.

Cons

Would be nice to have registration capabilities all in one.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's a great platform for bigger multi-day or multi-track events where broadcast-quality video matters.
Also great when you know you have multiple events throughout the year. The bigger and more complicated the event, the more BuzzCast really shines. Less appropriate for smaller meetings or events where zoom-level video quality will suffice.

This year marked Just For Laugh's first foray into hybrid events, which saw us filming live in venues and streaming to BuzzCast, also using their Video on Demand feature for past content, and scheduling & hosting meetings between delegates. Due to Covid, we wanted to figure out how to bring our ComedyPRO industry conference online for the first time. It became apparent very early on we needed outside support to do this, in came BuzzCast who was a joy to work with from start to finish. The BuzzCast platform and team made sure ComedyPRO presented online, met our first-class in-person event standards. Part of the success of ComedyPRO this year lays squarely on BuzzCast's shoulders.

Pros

The BuzzCast platform was excellent in every way.
The platform is sleek and easy to use, both the backend and the UX.
The entire team at BuzzCast is supportive and works hard to make your event a complete success.
Building and deploying the conference was made easy by the expertise and hard-working BuzzCast staff.

Cons

Truly. There was nothing not to like, all around a great company and platform to work with.

BuzzCast pivoted quickly to understand the needs of Just For Laughs—Montréal, an internationally renowned comedy festival, and industry event. They were adept at finding new ways to deliver and maximize their platform for our unique needs. We worked with Buzzcast to make use of their online event hosting platform. It allowed us to host our typically in-person event in an online capacity, with many of the features of an IRL event translated to a digital festival.

Pros

Excellent user experience with a really sleek website.
Personal care from their hands-on production team.
They built the platform to meet our needs, and did so very skillfully.

Cons

As they begin to take on more events that have ticket-buyers as opposed to corporate events, it sounds like they'll begin to integrate box office capacities more, which was really the only thing we needed to work around with Buzzcast.

Likelihood to Recommend

As someone who has never run a digital festival before, their team was not only highly skilled to program and design the online platform based on our specific needs, but they were also engaged and responsive with my team. They were genuinely interested in making the festival a success and working collaboratively to do so. If you're looking to host a comprehensive online event or festival that is easy to use but is able to host a lot of shows and panels, these are the people to make it happen.

I've used BuzzCast to stream several virtual events. The platform is best in class and allows broadcast-quality streaming along with excellent audience engagement tools. It is customizable to each of my events' needs, and their production team is great to work with. I highly recommend this platform to event professionals and brands that produce virtual and hybrid events.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used the BuzzCast platform to create and host an annual virtual private meeting. We also worked with the BuzzLab team to produce the content (video capture, editing, etc.) Combined, these teams facilitated a high-end experience for participating key stakeholders and kept us on track to deliver everything on schedule, thinking about many of the important details and deadlines so we could focus on the content.

Lovely to work with.
Very organized.
Kept everything on schedule.
Considered all of the many details.
Felt like an extension of our own team.
Willing to go above and beyond to get a great result - very personalized to our needs.

Cons

Within the platform it would be great to have direct access to make edits changes (I believe this functionality is in process)

BuzzCast and BuzzLab are a great partner for a high-end event that requires extra personalization and/or added support from a team of amazing professionals. It was extremely helpful to feel like our team had extra brains and hands and that we were all working toward the same goal.
