What is Byteful?

Byteful is a proxy network for collecting publicly available web data. Operating as Byteful Technology Labs LTD in the United Kingdom since 2020, it serves 50,000+ customers across four proxy products managed from a single dashboard: residential, static residential (ISP), datacenter and mobile. Requests are routed through IP addresses in a chosen location, so sites receive traffic that appears to originate from ordinary regional visitors rather than a single server. The network is stated at 100 Gbps with a 99.9% uptime guarantee.

Sourcing and compliance

Byteful states that its residential proxies are ethically sourced through SDK programs and peer payment applications that compensate participating developers and end users. The company is a RIPE NCC member, an Internet Watch Foundation member and a member of the Ethical Web Data Collection Initiative, complies with GDPR and UK data protection regulations, and enforces an Acceptable Usage Policy alongside a published list of restricted domains. Customer verification is risk-based rather than universal.
