What is CIB seven?
| CIB seven is an open-source Business Process Management (BPM) engine, a fork of Camunda 7 Community Edition, offering a stable and long-term-open source solution for process automation. It supports both on-premises and cloud deployments, ensuring digital sovereignty. Fully compatible with existing Camunda 7 implementations, CIB seven facilitates seamless migration, preserving prior investments in process development. CIB seven is the BPM engine of CIB flow - a low-code BPMN 2.0 platform that integrates over 200 intelligent, AI-powered functions to enhance business process automation. The CIB seven 2.0 release features a modern user interface with Tasklist, Cockpit, Admin and Web Modeler. Enterprise Functionalities are available in pay-versions. From October 2025, CIB will provide comprehensive support and maintenance services, ensuring the engine's reliability for enterprise use. |
