What is cidaas?

cidaas delivers an out-of-the-box solution for federated identities, single sign-on and multi-factor authentication. With cidaas, companies create unique user identification for security across all channels. Based on the standards OAuth2.0, OpenID and its “Everything is an API” architecture, cidaas can be integrated into any software landscape and scales up to many millions of users.

cidaas is a solution for fast and secure identity management. With cidaas, the user can create one identity per user across all channels. cidaas is based on OAuth2.0 and OpenID Connect standards, provides API security and with integrated Bot Net Detection and Fraud Detection a secure journey across all business channels.

Passwordless Authentication
Countless passwords and pins make life difficult for users and are an unsightly barrier to access on digital channels. With passwordless authentication you secure digital applications and offer users a unique customer experience – because the login is the first thing users see.

Multi-Factor Authentication
The security of applications is important, but must not compromise the user experience. With smart multi-factor authentication both are combined – ask the second factor in case of increased risk or suspicious behavior, situation- and context-related.

Mobile Identity

cidaas ID Validator is a service for the verification of identity cards, passports, and driver’s licenses. The user is guided through an automated digital identity verification process by ID Validator. As the first step, cidaas records a video of the ID document. Various security features such as holograms or machine-readable codes and personal data such as name, date of birth and passport photo for authenticity are verified. After the ID is captured and verified, the second step is to take a photo of the face. These images are compared with the passport photo and consequently perform liveness detection and real-time verification to ensure that it is a real person and not manipulation.
