What is Cleverence Label?

Cleverence Label is browser-based barcode label software for warehouses, distribution centers, retail stores and plants. Labels are designed once in the browser and printed at any site on the printers already installed there, and the people who manage labels can see whether each job printed. There is no software to install on each laptop: the only install is PrintHub, on one Windows PC per site that has label printers.

Label design

  • Designer that works at the label's real size, with text, barcodes, images and shapes
  • Barcodes including Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, UPC-A, GS1-128, ITF-14, QR and Data Matrix
  • Fields filled from Excel, CSV or public Google Sheets, so one design prints thousands of different labels
  • AI assistant that drafts a label from a text description, or from a photo or screenshot of an existing label, which helps teams move off desktop label software
  • Ready-made templates for 4x6 shipping, SSCC, pallet LPN, bin location, shelf price, UPC/EAN product, asset tags, Amazon FBA box labels and DYMO stock sizes

Printing at any site

Once PrintHub runs on a site's printer PC, anyone in the organization can print to its Zebra, DYMO or other Windows printers from a browser, from another office, warehouse or country. PrintHub renders each label for its printer and sends it through the printer's own Windows driver, and every job reports whether it printed or what went wrong. Labels can also be printed as PDFs at label size or on A4 and Letter sheets.

Multi-site control

Headquarters keeps a versioned label library and publishes a version when it is ready. Rules lock the label size, barcode sizes and required elements. Site staff can be given a "Can use" role so they print the published label but cannot change it, and a site that needs its own variant gets a linked copy that keeps the rules.

Automation and API

  • Helpers that generate whole runs, such as SSCC-18 codes from a GS1 company prefix, pallet LPNs or every bin location in a rack, with check digits calculated
  • Scan stations that print a label for each scanned product
  • REST API with API keys so an ERP or WMS can list printers, send a label with its values and follow the job

Pricing

A free plan includes 50 labels per month. Paid plans (Starter, Professional, Enterprise) are priced by the number of labels printed, not per printer or per seat. Cleverence has developed barcode and Auto-ID software for more than 20 years; its products are used by about 15,000 companies in 30+ countries.
