Cobo is a digital asset custody solutions provider founded in 2017 and headquartered in Singapore, boasting users among over 500 institutional clients across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North and South America, with billions of dollars in assets under custody.

As a licensed omni-custody platform, Cobo offers a suite of solutions from centralized custody (HSM-based) to co-managed custody (MPC-based), and fully decentralized self-custody (based on smart contracts as well as a purpose-built custody blockchain). Cobo enables institutional users, from traditional financial institutions, to global asset managers, crypto-native funds, mining pools, and exchanges, to protect their digital assets and interact with Web 3.0.

Cobo states they and their solutions are SOC 2 Type 1-compliance certified and licensed in the US, Hong Kong, Lithuania and Dubai (provisional approval for Virtual Asset License), and is in the midst of obtaining licenses in Singapore.
