The release includes the following features:
- Freeze Mode: Allows administrators to lock the environment during a cybersecurity event to prevent data modification.
- Maintenance Mode: Provides a temporary, time-bound state for system upgrades that automatically reverts to a locked status.
- YARA rule-based scanning: Enables the import of external threat feeds to detect malware patterns using YARA rules.
- Stop-on-Infection workflow: Terminates a scan when a threat is detected, flags the specific image, and initiates the next recovery point analysis.
- Unified snapshot management: Centralizes snapshot creation, replication, and restoration from a single management interface.
- Oracle Private Cloud Appliance support: Extends protection to virtual machines (VMs) running in private OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) compatible environments.
- KVM Workload Support: Provides data protection for KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) hypervisors.
- Nutanix AHV Instant Access: Supports the recovery of VMware workloads across different infrastructure platforms.
- NetBackup DirectIO: An alternative storage architecture that the vendor states delivers increased performance and reduced costs compared to legacy storage systems.
