As a software consultant and technology in general, one of the most frequently asked questions is about versioning and configuration management. According to the reality of each company we have chosen recommendable solutions like One Drive, Dropbox or Google Drive. However, lately we're starting to think about Cubby as a solution for the future [for our own company].
  • Files sync
  • Files storage
  • Security and Availability
  • Critical mass of users
  • It could be more recognized
For the business public, solutions like One Drive may seem somewhat complex and solutions such as Dropbox or Google Drive may be too basic. Cubby gives you that balance sought by small and medium enterprises.

Cubby is used by a team in our department, it's a wonderful tool for offline sync and sharing and I haven't seen any hiccups with its usability. The sync process is quick and efficient, just copy over to the My Cubby folder and you're good to go, all your changes are automatically synced to the cloud (edit/delete, etc.)
  • Extremely easy to use.
  • Cross-device syncing is the best feature.
  • Allows for offline sync between devices (DirectSync).
  • Certain limitations in options on the web interface which are available on the Desktop interface.
  • Version control possible on Web UI but not the desktop interface.
  • Slightly over-priced.
Cubby has very well designed iOS and Android applications, extremely easy to use, flawless syncing, good on collaboration and sharing for teams, offline cross-device sync is amazing and does its job! I don't think I could point out and say this is less appropriate in certain situations as I haven't come across such a situation yet.

Cubby is used to store files and share them with users that need the files during a remote session of LogMeIn Rescue.
  • Store files that need archiving.
  • Share files with others.
  • Sync files with PC.
  • Since we are already a LogMeIn Rescue customer we are a fan of their products. We really do not see a lot that Cubby does not do for us that we need to do.
  • It would be nice to have a built-in password manager/keeper to share using the Cubby cloud storage. Users can share files in a secure manner, so why not be able to share passwords with them securely as well.
Cubby is great to just drop a file in and share it with another user.
The LogMeIn company has always been very helpful and quick to respond to all of our support requests and just "how to" question we may have.
