We needed a dashboard to monitor efficiency signals in our production process. Previously, we exported Jira data into XLS and updated formulas on a weekly basis. Doing ad-hoc analysis at a weekly cadence wasn't frequent enough to be able to address issues as they were happening. We missed some opportunities to intervene in tasks where scope misalignment caused 3x overages on time estimates and scheduling. Beyond the cadence issue, the presentation options made reporting easier to understand than pivot tables.

EazyBI is a great tool to create custom reports based on team performance where measures like Hours Spent are used. It's not as easy as measuring capacity, since that still must be done externally and saved in user-defined formulas.

Since EazyBI can be configured for team quantitative measures, collaboration time now focuses on brainstorming and discussion around projects.
Since user-defined formulas are reused across reports, there's less deviation in reporting from different people.
There's less time spent debating the reporting setup since reports are configured once and kept current through the fiscal quarter.

Jira Service Management and Wrike

EazyBI is the only tool that allows for dynamic reporting. I'd highly recommend investing the time to learn how to create user-defined formulas since the return on value will increase as time passes.
