Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use elastic.io platform to connect our Cloud ERP client's whole host of procurement applications with Oracle Database so it can be eventually used for the business intelligence suite of Oracle. This is just one of many different scenarios for which it is extensively used by a lot of our public sector clients.

Pros

  • Unlike other integration platforms, using and implementing elastic.io is fairly simple and intuitive
  • You do not need to worry about scaling since it is taken care by the platform itself
  • Developing new connectors isn't complicated

Cons

  • The number of seeded or default connectors can be improved
  • The value for the money isn't exceptional
  • White labeling is not included in standard packages

Likelihood to Recommend

If you have multiple applications that need to be connected to some standard CRP/ERPs and you want to do it in a cost-effective and scalable way, Elastic.io is a great choice. It is easy and intuitive enough for relatively rapid development than other platforms.
