Use Cases and Deployment Scope

At FP Restoration, we utilize Encircle for our daily documentation and communication with our clients to include property owners, insurance adjusters, and contractors. the technology allows us to utilize real-time photos, videos, and even measuring/notating tools to more accurately communicate all the needs of a project, whether emergency or reconstruction. Encircle is constantly working to improve all features that makes their software a must-have here at FP!

Encircle - The Best Field Software Ever!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Encircle for all of our field challenges. The photos, videos and report functions help us provide our Customer's with timely updates on all of their files. We also use the software to assist us in drying records on all water losses we encounter.
Our Content Division uses Encircle to photograph and list non-restorable contents in customized schedules for our Customers.
There are many other parts of the software that we use and some that we are just learning about, but everything that we adopt in our regular processes has made us a more efficient business.

Pros

  • Real time reporting from the job site.
  • Very detailed drying reports for all of our water losses
  • Interactive reports for our customers including photos and videos.
  • Excellent content listing and photography options.

Cons

  • Sometimes it takes a long time to load the job at the site.
  • As long as the internet signal is strong the software works beautifully. You can work offline in those cases where the signal is not good or not there at all.

Likelihood to Recommend

Encircle is the best field software we have ever used.
The designer must have worked in the field because every challenge we face has been addressed in the software.
The ability to provide our Customers so many types of reporting in real time helps keep our company in the forefront of our Industry.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Encircle has transformed our mitigation operations at [...] by providing our field-facing technicians with the user-friendly app they deserve. Encircle has significantly improved our documentation processes, allowing our technicians to complete their tasks more efficiently and accurately while providing a higher degree of clarity and transparency to our insurance partners. As a result, they spend less time on handwritten paperwork and more time on what truly matters—delivering quality work and getting home to their families sooner. Additionally, the API integration with Kahi has been a game-changer. It has streamlined our equipment calculations and tying in to our actual equipment inventory directly contributing to an increase in our average job size. This allows us to make real time decisions with dispatch while being proactive and looking at trends to determine when to buy more equipment. Encircle’s innovative solutions have not only boosted our productivity but also elevated the quality of our service, making it an indispensable asset to our team.

Pros

  • Encircles task and outlined to where the technician complete the job in a step by step manor as to not miss anything
  • The pdf reports it generates are cutting edge and allow for the homeowner and insurance company to see everything we did at a job
  • The equipment validation and integration with Kahi makes it easy for a technician to see what he has in his inventory and what the job needs to bring back to dry standards.

Cons

  • Some of the API integrations are elementary and have room to grow such as being able to scan the Kahi tags QR code to assign to a job
  • The custom forms are nice but hard can be majorly improved in the customer interface and signing side. It is hard to walk through with all the signing pages and having to save and edit if you want to add another signature.
  • There needs to be an ability to add date fields that can are apart of the API for company’s that use dashboard tools such as Power BI. This would be a game changer as it would allow us to trigger automations such as having a date field for “Estimated Demo Completion Day” that would send an email to our estimator to once populated for them to the schedule an appointment to write a repair scope.
  • We have a custom form for T&M field sheets but it is clunky and not easy to use. I would love to see some easier to use Time and Material field sheets integrated with Encircle. If you could figure this out you would be the first in the industry to do Electronic T&M paperwork.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you have more than 2 mitigation crews at your company Encircle is a no brainer. If you have less than 2 I can see how it would be easier to do quality control on handwritten paperwork but encircle would be a lot cleaner and easier.
