IncentivizedUse Cases and Deployment Scope
I use ENVISION in my organization by implementing this curriculum in my teaching of classrooms 2nd-5th grade. This product addresses the problem of needing lessons which are engaging, able to be viewed in a variety of ways for multiple types of learners, and is aligned to the state standards while also providing a clear and concise instruction model.
Pros
- Provides engaging content
- Provides interesting and helpful technological components
- Provides intervention as well as small group materials and reasonable set up for teachers
Cons
- When viewing ENVISION online, in my experience, it is difficult to find materials through the online teacher and student text books, so this can be improved.
- At times, the manuals are incorrect in their answers, which can be fixed, allowing for streamlining in our teaching as well as the assurance of student's learning more easily.
- ENVISION does not provide reports based on data that is acquired through online assessments, this can help teachers to better modify their teaching as well as their implementation of small group time in Mathematic practices.
Likelihood to Recommend
Envision is well suited in a school system that not only thrives on but requires multiple ways for students to learn mathematical concepts aligned to the state's standards for learning. Envision is not well suited for schools which are private/charter and do not wish to follow those guidelines but rather a different approach.
