eventPower Makes Meeting Planning A Breeze

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

AT PHA we use eventPower for our Meeting and Conference planning. We use eventPower as a one-stop shop for Registration, Speaker Management, Abstract Management, Exhibitor Management, Hybrid Virtual Platform Component and onsite badge printing. eventPower has simplified our conference planning experience. IN the past all of those components were outsourced to different vendors and piece mailed together by AP integrations. eventPower is able to do all of them and no integrations or separate vendors/ contracts needed. All their systems talk to each other so it makes for a seamless experience from the end user as well.

Pros

  • Service is expectational. The EP staff we work with are always on top of things and make life simple for me.
  • The Bundled services we have all work together and makes less work on my end planning wise
  • The virtual platform function is extremely user friendly and professional looking.

Cons

  • Currently they do not have a meeting space management add-on. There is no platform at EP that helps with BEO creation and Meeting space layout for onsite meetings.
  • Complimentary registrations like speakers and staff aren't able to add on paid activities during the registration process. They have to go in after they've completed their complimentary registration and add on paid ticket items which is frustrating.
  • They are a newer company so their API doesn't compute with some much older databases.

Return on Investment

  • Streamlined the meeting process by taking aspects that were all contracted separately with different vendors and now housed under one roof (contract). Saved us alot of money
  • Negative impact is that one missing feature where i cant organize my meeting space and create my BEOs.
  • Service staff is incredible and saves my staff valuable time to work on other projects.
