Rating: 7 out of 10
IncentivizedUse Cases and Deployment Scope
We advise and implement Forcepoint Data Guard for our clients belonging to various industry types - Financial, Healthcare, cross, consumer etc. It is currently being used by our client's protected network which is segmented and follows strict Zero Trust policies. One of the major problems that it is solving is enabling transmission of sensitive data between 2 LAN / other secure networks. It acts as an added layer of security with Firewalls, Proxies etc
Pros
- Integrates extremely well with client's SIEM environment
- Secure Data transfer / bidirectional
- Syslog capabilities which helps us to parse the logs well enough
- Less time / Fast
Cons
- I wonder if we can think of integrating it with Firewall Rule Management solutions like Tufin, not sure if API supports or not.
- Custom Reporting capabilities tailored for CISO/GISO level client folks
- Automation /ease of custom scripting - assistance from Forcepoint support for the same
