Notetaking
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
I use it for every recording, transcribing, and notetaking in every Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet call I attend. The outstanding notetaking skills of the system allows me to focus on my clients / the person I'm speaking with, rather than capturing what they say. I'm able to be more present in meetings as a result. Additionally, keeping tabs on how much I'm talking vs the other person in the meeting is so valuable! The new notes feature where you can change the format of the notes entirely with a click of the button (change templates) is outstanding. And the Zapier integration is great. I have a zap set to send each action item to my to do list in Clickup (my task management system).
Pros
- Transcription
- Notes
- Recording
Cons
- Allow for audio-only telephone calls (similar to otter.ai)
- Additional stability
Likelihood to Recommend
I always ask if the other attendees are ok with my using the app. If they were not comfortable, I would turn it off. This is likely over-cautious, but I also am hesitant to use it in extremely sensitive and confidential conversations. I use it as often as possible and am heavily reliant on it for any status meetings where there might be action items for any attendee, etc.
