Use Cases and Deployment Scope

FortiAuthenticator is our main authenticator service in our organization. We authenticate VPN users to connect and secure their laptops and devices by registering users and computers to FortiAuthenticator server and linked it with Active Directory. Securing our customers and employee access to organization resources are the main purpose of using FortiAuthenticator server.

Pros

  • Integration with Active directory
  • Integration with Palo alto Networks firewall and global protect services
  • Sending Token via emails to customers for authentications.

Cons

  • The amount of Token to be send can be improved
  • The system UI need a bit of retouches
  • More support for other vendors to integrate and authenticate
