FortiOS keeps getting better and better
FortiOS is an ecosystem used primarily (in our environment) with FortiGate Firewalls to protect and narrow our threat surface. FortiOS provides a common user interface regardless of device makeup and unifies features such as automation and orchestration, network, and security policy under a single, common user interface. Through its API, FortiOS provides a common management framework and a common security framework for all your FortiNet solutions and 3rd Party devices.

FortiOS was easy to learn and came with our Firewall purchase, therefore it was the logical choice. It became evident early on that the FortiOS and security fabric would make our migration quicker and easier from our current legacy platforms. Utilizing tools such as FortiConverter allowed for virtually error-free migrations.
