In our organisation, we are using Google Cloud Translation API for around 12 languages as platform languages which helps to address the multilingual experience.
Translation API improving our conversion rates and adoptions globally and it is improving the accessibility as well. We introduced i18n validation using this API.
And regarding use cases, translating all the web content, document orientated works, as mentioned above really useful for i18n automation validation to all 12 languages.

Pros
- For sure, Accuracy is in the first place. Consistently contents are translated with accuracy
- Ease of use - able to integrate easily with help docs.
- Handling dynamic content very well
Cons
- Our product deals with huge data volume, so cost is getting high when volume increase.
- We are owing very deep and multiple level of domains, for few domains it required additional setup to avoid inaccuracy. In common translation doing pretty well but domain specific needs improvement.
- Need improvement in one basic area, which is handling the special characters.
Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited for product which is available in global market, so ease to translate multiple platform languages. and also it works well for all the web content, lables and documents.
Less appropriate for our one of the product which handle the legal documents which are tightly coupled with customers like aggreement or contract based.
