When using GuardianRx, users have experienced various business problems related to the efficiency of their pharmacy operations. Some users have reported that the recent update has caused additional and unnecessary steps when lotting out drugs, slowing down the process. Additionally, updating the quantity of an expired item requires calling CarePoint, which can cause inefficiency in inventory management.

Despite these issues, GuardianRx offers many notation options and HIPAA compliance for security. According to one reviewer who has worked with other pharmacy software systems such as RX30, QS1, and McKesson Computer Systems, GuardianRx is the easiest system to work with. However, there are limitations to the platform as it is not meant for compounding and there are issues with making prescription labels for multi-ingredient compounds.

Furthermore, the promised features such as an app for customer refills do not exist and tech support has been reported to be surly at times. Though they lack an integrated POS system, GuardianRx does have a great customer service team that forms personal relationships with users giving them a sense of comfort. Lastly, it is important to note that after every update, it takes several hours to get labels and paper to print from the correct drawer. The 24/7 support is also a misnomer as issues left on the voice mail may or may not be addressed. Overall, while GuardianRx has some setbacks, it serves as a great option for specific organizational needs when looking for a pharmacy software system.

User-Friendly Interface: Customers have praised the software for its simple and clear user interface, making it easy to navigate through the work process. Several users have reported that they find GuardianRx’s interface user-friendly for pharmacy management.

Efficient Support Team: Many reviewers have appreciated the Carepoint Support team's amazing assistance in troubleshooting configuration and user errors. The support team has been able to help users increase efficiency and ensure that patients' orders are shipped on time.

Comprehensive Features: According to several reviewers, GuardianRx offers most of the necessary features along with additional ones that may not be needed but can still come in handy. The software provides a comprehensive solution for Rx management, storage and inventory, as well as dispense and administration.

Outdated Application: Many users have expressed that the GuardianRx application seems outdated and is not keeping up with the demands of growing customers. They feel that an update is needed to make it more user-friendly.

Expensive: Reviewers have noted that, compared to its competitors, GuardianRx is expensive. Some users felt that the product provided a poor value for price.

Poor Customer Support: Several reviewers complained about slow response time from customer support when they had queries or concerns. This has left many feeling unsupported and frustrated.
