What is HTMeLd?
The speed of a website directly affects the Google Page Experience score, and therefore Google rank. HTMeLd helps to improve upon this by scanning each page for external resources like images, style sheets, and scripts. Then it embeds these files directly in the HTML. This eliminates the need for a visitor's browser to make multiple HTTP requests for additional files, which incurs considerable overhead. It also "minifies" the HTML and CSS by eliminating unnecessary characters to make the pages as small as possible, further improving the load time.
