I use IBM Cloud Container Registry for the development of proofs of concept of digital transformation solutions through microservices. The service is efficient and fast, it integrates easily with any vendor with a Docker or Kubernetes interface. The service provides private and public registry in multiple zones.

When I need to do a proof of concept of a solution for a client and it must have high levels of privacy and at the same time performance, I use IBM Cloud Container Registry.

Our Java spring boot based application to poll the IOT information from our boats is containerized and deployed in our Kube cluster which is hosted in IBM Cloud. So all the services that are part of the BSM application are containerized and the latest image and older versions are stored in IBM Container Registry.
  • Scalable Plans
  • Easily integrate it with IBM Kube service
  • Easy integration with IBM Cloud CI/CD tools.
  • It matches with what Docker Hub features. I think it is good, and doing what is intended.
Kube service hosted in IBM Cloud. We currently use IBM container registry only with this service.
  • I'm working as a technical consultant for a canal barge company. I don't know completed information about the ROI.
Not Applicable in our case. We started using IBM container registry as IBM bluemix is our preferred cloud platform
