  • Understanding the problem from a business perspective
  • Evaluating the problem from a technical perspective
  • Lean methodologies
  • Timing slots
  • The program should be expandable to outside of IBM offices
  • More dedicated people
I recommend IBM Cloud Garage to anyone that has a real problem [that needs] to be solved through algorithms.
We had all the support we needed to accomplish our goal, in the right time.

Garage will get it done!

  • Creating epics and user stories
  • Helping refine user stories and creating subtasks
  • Design and arch
  • They should hire experienced developers
  • Should not force their architecture decisions on clients but should provide various alternate options
It's better to use Garage skills during inception and proof of concept stage. I am sure they are helpful later too but detailed design decisions are taken way early and can create issues if Garage comes later and recommends better solutions. I think the Garage UX team is not that helpful. They should hire people who are quick to understand customer requirements.
