Audit Analytics, an Ideagen brand since the late 2021 acquisition, is a research provider of audit, regulatory, and disclosure intelligence, serving the serving the accounting, financial, insurance, legal, regulatory and academic communities. Their database catalog includes tools to screen for audit, financial reporting, and control risks, with detailed research on over 150,000 active audits and more than 10,000 accounting firms. Access to Audit Analytics data is available via an online user subscription, email notifications, enterprise data-feed subscriptions and custom research reports.

I use Ideagen Audit Analytics to access data that I use to conduct academic and practitioner research. These data are essential in helping me to do high-quality and impactful research. I also appreciate that the scope of Audit Analytics' data sources has expanded since I have been using it. I am excited for this to continue to expand.

Access to important data on companies and auditors
Data is incredibly clean and well organized
Customer service is very good when I've had to use them

Cons

I wish that all of their data offerings were clear (sometimes I have to dig to find what they offer)
Sometimes there is limited data coverage in some areas
I wish I could download larger datasets all at once

Return on Investment

I have used it to generate projects I would not have been able to do without Audit Analytics
It has saved me lots of time, which is worth the cost
Some of the datasets they offer I do not use, so there is some unused resource
