We use Indeed Assessments to vet potential new hires. Our business requires certain skill sets and using Indeed Assessments helps us verify that the applicants meet our requirements.
If you are hiring office staff, it makes it easy to see who has the ability to use office equipment, communicate effectively, and be dependable. If you are hiring for a specific trade, it makes it easy to weed out applicants who not possess the skill sets needed for the job.
We are using Indeed Assessment for all our positions. It is a very handy tool that makes it easier for us to screen applicants. It saves us time and effort to screen candidates manually. One thing I like most is that Indeed recommends the assessment based on the kob requisition so we do not have to go in and search for the appropriate assessment.
I would like it better if we could have the option to customize the questions in Indeed Assessments. It does save us time in screening, but I think it would be much better if we could have the option to customize and better construct the questions for candidates.
Indeed has more options when it comes to the competition. I have not seen specific questions for each job while using Glassdoor or ZipRecruiter. You can manually create questions on those websites to screen candidates manually but Indeed does the screening for you. It is more robust and easy to use for employers and candidates.
Overall, support is good. It helps our operation to get better candidates, saves time and effort. It provides an extra step to help screen better candidates without putting in too much effort.
