Infor Yard Management

Infor Yard Management is a yard management system for tracking and controlling trailers, railcars, and other equipment as they move into, through, and out of a facility yard. The platform is designed to replace manual equipment tracking with real-time visibility, automated task generation, and process controls for gate check-in, inspections, staging, receiving, shipping, and check-out. It tracks equipment ID, location, contents, ownership, and status so facility managers can prioritize time-sensitive shipments and reduce dwell time, detention costs, and yard delays.

Core capabilities include tablet-based gate check-in and check-out, template-driven inspections, mobile task support for over-the-road drivers and yard jockeys, GPS-based move confirmation, weigh scale integration, RFID and AEI tracking, detention and demurrage monitoring, and a 3D visual yard view for monitoring equipment by location or zone. Infor states that the product runs as a multi-tenant cloud application on AWS and integrates with Infor ION and Infor Ming.le for workflow integration, alerts, and cross-application communication.
