Strengthen Security to Thwart Threats
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use Inspired eLearning to train our staff in security awareness objectives. We use it across all of our US offices; it is required for every staff member. We are also beginning to assign and require this training for all new persons onboarding to our organization regardless of their future role or office location. The security awareness training from Inspired eLearning is helping us raise our organization's overall awareness of threats and threat vectors and providing our staff with solutions for improving their response posture when encountering threats.
Pros
- Modules include interactive activities which engage rather than just inform
- The support staff provides excellence response and troubleshooting
- The learning portal is friendly and intuitive
- Reporting features and built-in report dashboards keep me informed quickly on engagement
Cons
- Numbering and Naming of modules can be improved. I have often released modules in the wrong order.
- Email summary reports could be improved.
- The mobile app is wonderful, however, we use SSO to provide the iLMS to our users so they cannot access the mobile app which is only via user name and password. We'd love to be able to offer both the SSO app pathway and the mobile app!
Likelihood to Recommend
Security awareness training is new to our users and this is well suited to them. We have had users from across our multi-generational staff (20-year-olds through 70-year-olds) remark that they found it informative and practical. Our staff is able to immediately practice what they learn, too.
