Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use Inspired eLearning to train our staff in security awareness objectives. We use it across all of our US offices; it is required for every staff member. We are also beginning to assign and require this training for all new persons onboarding to our organization regardless of their future role or office location. The security awareness training from Inspired eLearning is helping us raise our organization's overall awareness of threats and threat vectors and providing our staff with solutions for improving their response posture when encountering threats.
Pros and Cons
  • Modules include interactive activities which engage rather than just inform
  • The support staff provides excellence response and troubleshooting
  • The learning portal is friendly and intuitive
  • Reporting features and built-in report dashboards keep me informed quickly on engagement
  • Numbering and Naming of modules can be improved. I have often released modules in the wrong order.
  • Email summary reports could be improved.
  • The mobile app is wonderful, however, we use SSO to provide the iLMS to our users so they cannot access the mobile app which is only via user name and password. We'd love to be able to offer both the SSO app pathway and the mobile app!
Likelihood to Recommend
Security awareness training is new to our users and this is well suited to them. We have had users from across our multi-generational staff (20-year-olds through 70-year-olds) remark that they found it informative and practical. Our staff is able to immediately practice what they learn, too.
Return on Investment
  • Our users are increasingly identifying and reporting phishing rather than engaging
  • Our users are applying situational security in the physical workplace
  • Our users are reporting events where they do fall victim to a malicious link so we can proactively respond.
  • We are able to achieve security milestones through improved password policies and 2-factor authentication because our users are aware, informed and ready for policy changes
Alternatives Considered
We did not evaluate other products; we have only used internal employee training and self-published material in the past. This is our pilot experience with using a partner to provide training to our users. We chose Inspired eLearning based on their reputation, pricing and their willingness to work with us to deploy solutions based on our project release time frame.

The technical support team is responsive and understanding. When I fail to follow up, they follow up with me! I find that they take time to check in when I have not been engaging regularly and they promptly provide troubleshooting and response when my users report an issue.
Sales support has also been wonderful; the sales team keeps in touch but does not overwhelm my inbox with contact and meeting invites. They are pro-active ahead of renewal and make sure that our annual transitions go smoothly.

Inspired eLeaerning is being used company wide. Not only for Security Awareness but also for other corporate / HR compliance training such as workplace harassment, Code of Conduct, timekeeping and several others. Inspired eLearning also offers Constellation West the ability to create and deploy originally created content that is more specific to our industry and awareness training compliance.

Likelihood to Recommend
Inspired eLearning is most suited in the Human Resources / Corporate compliance training arena. Workplace Harassment, Code of Conduct and HIPPA offerings are spot offered are professionally produced and work seamlessly in the LMS.
Previously, Inspired eLearning offered professional development course work but the reimbursement aspect within Constellation West was cumbersome and we move away from using them as a source for this kind of training. Additionally the coursework seemed to be a bit dated.

  • Utilizing the Inspired LMS has assisted Constellation West with obtaining ISO and CMMI certifications.
  • Reduction of man hours tracking and reporting training status
  • Cost per learner is very affordable, depending on head count, 35-40 dollars per learner per year

I have always received really good level of support from the folks at Inspired. Both from a customer service perspective, sales/ account review and a technical issue assistance. Every person I have interfaced with were professional and courteous.
