Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use LawPay as a credit card processing tool for our clients who wish to pay by credit card. Clients typically pay by credit card at least 60-70% of the time. LawPay also now offers a buy now pay later collab with Affirm which has come in very handy and offers Clients another option for large retainers.

Pros

Very easy to use as a vendor and client
Provide receipts electronically to client so we don't have to
Can send quick links to prospective clients without having to enter in all the information saving us time

Cons

The Affirm option is a little difficult to get to. Would be helpful to have a separate button for it.

Likelihood to Recommend

LawPay is well suited as a credit card processing system. It provides security needed to meet company insurance requirements. It is interesting because they have acquired MyCase which is another law case management software that we use, yet some of the functionality of LawPay, specifically Affirm, is not available on MyCase. Ideally it would be great to have all the same functionality on MyCase so we could use that only.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

LawPay provides all our payment processing. We use this for recurring payments to our firm along with retainers. Given our fees involve both a overall service fee along with a recurring monthly monitoring fee, LawPay is wonderful as it allows us to schedule monthly payments and the entire process is automated from that point on. The system also allows us to set recurring charges up to a certain amount, so we don't have to cancel the payments once the full fees have been paid. The automation is a great time saver!

Customer service is great and entire interface is so easy to use. Anytime there is any issues, the customer service reps are extremely kind and helpful. LawPay also keeps us in compliance with the Bar Association by drafting all fees out of our operating account and keeping the integrity of the trust account. The whole process is worry-free and allows us to focus on the case work.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use LawPay to process 99% of my client payments. It makes it much easier for my clients to make their payments than having to wait for them to mail in a check and then deposit it with my bank.

We use LawPay for all of our credit card processing. It has made accepting payments much easier! Anytime we have issues, their customer service has always answered in under five minutes. They could not have better customer service.
