This is an amazing tool for anyone who struggles with understanding where their customers are coming from. The backlink tracking helps you identify, sort and analyze where a person landed on your page from, when he/she did it, which page on your web platform/ app did they land on, where the IP is located.

It is very well suited for identifying which part of the platform is most used. it also helps us to identify customer usage patterns and alert when some link goes down. Moreover, the most commonly used view is the page where you can see all the backlinks along with all the insights.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Linkody to check the backlinks of our domains, to verify desired connections as well as backlinks that we should disavow. It is used primarily in our marketing department to manage our digital marketing presence. Linkody addresses our issues of identifying and disavowing undesirable links from link farms, spam sites, etc.

Pros

  • The identification of new links is extremely helpful.
  • Comparison tool of backlinks and being able to look at competitors backlinks as well.

Cons

  • The tool is exclusively related to backlinks, so there are not any other features (which we are subscribed) to utilize on the platform.
  • There are periodic crawl errors, so we have occasions with reports filled with hundreds of backlink errors. Commonly these are corrected within a day, but we have to wait to act on the errors because there are so many it is difficult to identify what is a real error and which is a mistake of the Linkody tool.

Likelihood to Recommend

For the explicit need of managing backlinks, Linkody is a good tool for this use. If you need additional search and website related verification tools, then another tool would be better, such as SEMRush or SpyFu.
